Chairman

Jason Lipscombe

Responsible for ensuring the smooth running of the management committee along with the overall running of the club.

Business

Experienced Facilities and Health and safety manager, working in Peterborough for a times top 100 company. Currently working on a £8 million distribution centre project local to Hampton.

Football

Played local football for many years, but for the past 9 years have been coaching local Hampton football teams. Have held various roles within Hampton FC, including development officer, secretary and chairman, so bring across a wealth of experience in local youth football. Along with Dan Harrington, was determined in bringing adult football to Hampton. This was done to ensure that the current youth teams in Hampton, had a natural progression into adult football.

Community

As a resident of Hampton and a father of 2 football mad boys, I’ve always been passionate about giving everybody the opportunity to play local football for their local club. By creating FC Hampton, along with a very passionate group of people, I feel that we will be creating a legacy, that will ensure that football in Hampton will continue to grow for many years.

I have been coaching my current U14’s for 9 seasons and my U11’s for 6 seasons

Vice Chairman

Daniel Harrington

Responsible for the overall running of the club, working very closely with the chairman Jason.

Business

Dan has created his locally focused business, BeTradeSmart to fix problems that he recognised customers had when trying to improve their homes in a cost-effective manner. His business is focused on connecting high quality tradespeople with customers looking for exceptional work, but at reasonable prices, in an environment where reputation and transparency is key.

Football

Dan played in the local leagues in Ely, Cambridgeshire. Dan was the driving force for creating the Hampton FC mens sides growing the number of teams from 1 to 4 in 3 years. Dan is also the manager of the mens 1st team,

Community

Dan was one of the creators of FC Hampton and has been the driving force behind growing the mens teams from one to four sides within three years. This has been done to get more people playing football, but in a way that has allowed the club to support schools and youth football teams with equipment through sponsorship or supplying free of charge. This contribution underpins the values that Dan holds to grow FC Hampton for the coming years.

Treasurer

Luke Wilson

Responsible for working closely with other members of the Management Committee to safeguard the organisation's finances.

Business

Luke is a local business owner of a small accountancy firm called M&L Accountants. Offering accounting and bookkeeping services to self-employed individuals and small businesses in Hampton, Peterborough & Surrounding areas at a reasonable rate.

Football

Luke has been playing football since the age of six for his local Saturday and Sunday teams. Since moving to the area back in 2018 he has been playing as part of this team. He is keen to complete his FA Coaching badges and hopefully coach one of the kids teams next season.

Community

Luke was one of the founders of FC Hampton and is very proud to be part of the committee for this club. He is very keen to help develop the club within the coming years and to support the local community in anyway the club possibly can.

Social Secretary

Sizuzile Buthelezi

Responsible for maintaining the social media presence of FC Hampton and driving social events across the club.

Business

Multi-skilled engineer by trade working in manufacturing. Currently involved in automation technology working 6 axis robots and pick-and-place machinery.

Football

Been associated with football in Hampton for over 5 years and currently the captain for the men's first team. Have enjoyed every moment of the journey undertaken by the club, growing from a single team to three adult teams.

Community

Involved in fundraising for local residents in need, highlight being a football tournament staged to help a local ex footballer.

Media, Digital and PR Officer

Ben Ferguson

Responsible for the technical stuff including the website, email and external communication.

Business

Ben brings over 17 years of experience within media to the committee. His technical knowledge allows FC Hampton to keep much of their design and IT work in house saving the club ongoing costs.

Football

Ben has played football up to semi-professional standard and played locally for over 25 years across all levels. Taking a step back from playing, Ben now manages the vets team, although he is always on hand if any of the Saturday teams need a helping hand.

Community

Ben has always been heavily involved with local football and his children attend the local Hampton schools. Ben's oldest son Oscar also plays locally for Hampton.

Funding & Commercial Officer

Pete Short

Responsible for the commercial aspects of the club along with generating funding through sponsorship opportunities.

Business

An experienced business developer with vast experience in media sales, sponsorship and events across a number of business’s around the City. Currently working for a Non for-profit trade association the Road Haulage Association in Peterborough managing a portfolio of multimedia publications, events and growing the Associations Membership levels.

Football

Played football from the age of 8 then graduating into men’s football at 16 – playing for local teams such Orton Utd, Ortonians, ICA and Deeping Utd. along the way – making appearances now for the Vets only and coaching the Hampton Men’s teams

Community

A resident of Hampton for over 10 years, Pete has supported the club since its inception and is delighted to be part of the clubs vision and help support this, its vital that we give back to the local area on a grass roots level to help support the next generation of footballer.
